4. Steel Rose - Father knows his older son is deeply "in love" with younger son, the male lead; does nothing about it until his son almost rapes male lead
5. CutexGuy - Parents test genderbending drug on daughter without her knowing what it is; Father tells daughter the drug will make her cooler, more mature, and eye-catching without telling her she'll also grow a penis

• Tohru's mom and dad (Fruits Basket) (I don't remember her parents' backstory but they raised her with love. And there is a chapter about her mom's grief after her husband died; I had to quickly switch over to the puppy channel)
• Haruhi's lawyer mom (Ouran High School Host Club) (I totally recommend reading the extra story about how Haruhi's parents met. Her mom's like a knight and her dad's like a unicorn. It works.) 
• Lele Cane's supermodel mom who embodies the saying "like mother, like daughter" and her dad (don't know him but he made her mom happy) (the One) (The extra story about Lele's parents are also interesting though the dad seems a bit wishy-washy.)
• Pamela's mom who works as a healer (the Tarot Cafe)
